The Kalbar Observatory is located about 5 min from Kalbar and is identifiable by the white observatory dome which is visible from Munbilla Road.

We hold regular Dark Sky Field Trips where you can appreciate the delights of the night sky away from the city lights.

There is the guest house if you would like to stay over for the night. (please book ahead for this as space is limited)

There is also camping equipment available for use on site (includes tents, sleeping bags, air mattresses and tent heaters) or you are welcome to bring your own camping gear.
