Cairns Tropical Pride

Cairns Tropical Pride celebrates LGBT+ lifestyle in Tropical North Queensland with year round events and the Cairns Tropical Pride Festival 12 - 14 October, 2018.

Friday 12th October, 6pm:  Gala Launch - Wearable Art Ball, Tank 4, The Tanks Arts Centre. Includes launch of month long Tropical Gaze Art Exhibition, Community Awards and Costume Prizes.

Saturday 13th October10am: Flash Mob at Rainbow Crossing and Parade to Cairns Museum to hand over first LGBT+ Collection in Cairns Museum.

Midday: Queer Spring Break II : Turtle Cove Beach Resort: Top DJ's, The MerQueens, The Ironing Maidens and much much more. A secluded tropical beach surrounded by world heritage rainforest comes alive with the party of the year.

Sunday 14th October 10.30am: Pride Fair Day, The Tanks Arts Centre: Wild Barra, Matthew Mitcham, Karen from Finance, The Dog Show, , Fair Day Stalls, Binda Warren, Secret Tuesdays, The Ironing Maidens

5.30pm: Pride Laneway Party, The Conservatory Bar
