Hi I'm Anton, a passionate italian specialty coffee roaster & supplier. All 39years of my life have been more than interesting. I've battled with acceptance and the need to transition female to male since very young. At 14 I began a 10year battle with brain tumours, at 34, I defeated my religious indoctrination losing the entire grounding of my life and too many family and friends. but went on to successfully transition. In 2020 I found love and got engaged only to be diagnosed with stage4 cancer in 2021. I lost my then job as a barista around covid, so I got in touch with Phillip DiBella who has mentored and assisted me start Cosa Nostra Coffee. We currently import premium grade beans from 10 farms in Southern/Central America where we roast and blend them locally at the Coffee Commune here in Brisbane. I've grown up with coffee so I set my expectations high and Cosa Nostra is delivering. Its also served as a lifeline to me being such a positive and exciting project through my cancer treatments. Defying all ods I've gone from a terminal diagnosis widespread throughout my bones to ~ its about 80% dormant.
